The working group will meet on June 13 to continue its research activity. Angel Velez will participate as a speaker to share his and InLOG’s experience in the field of logistics.
Chaired by Francisco Javier Olmos Herguedas, PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Valladolid, currently responsible for product strategy and market development of Industrial and Digital Systems at the CARTIF Technology Center, the Food For Life and Logistop chain management working group has been participating in numerous national and international research projects for 20 years, highlighting its participation in projects with direct contracts from companies, FEDER, LIFE, FP7, H2020, Cenit, CIEN, CDTi, PROFIT, etc.
His research activity is linked to Industry 4.0 technologies, mainly in failure diagnosis with discrete event models, discrete event-based simulation of production processes, development of advanced production process management systems, new data capture systems in plant and traceability, culminating in several publications and patents.
It will be at the next meeting of this working group where Angel Velez will present InLOG’s path, its milestones, the birth of robotic software technologies and its tools for warehouse management.
