The event “Real cases of AI applied to logistics solutions”, to be held online on January 16, will highlight the improvements that artificial intelligence is bringing to WMS systems.

Artificial intelligence is taking over all aspects of our lives. However, in most cases, its application is anecdotal or irrelevant, becoming a mere ornament.

This paradoxical situation means that most of the discourse on AI is theoretical, without looking into a practical application that does not seem to be forthcoming.

For this reason, at InLOG we wanted to take a different approach and show, first hand and with real cases, how artificial intelligence is evolving warehouse management systems.

On the 16th, promoted by Enpresa digitala and Grupo Spri, and scheduled to last two hours, we will delve into how cutting-edge technology (now represented in AI) has a real impact on companies.

After a context presentation and introduction by Miguel Angel Blanco, Innovation Director of Devol RPA, two customer success stories will be presented. In the first one, we will see the real case of a logistics company, while in the second one we will do the same with an industrial company. Thanks to this format, it will be possible to understand first-hand the advantages and opportunities presented by the adoption of a technology that is already revolutionizing the world. The event will end with a round table moderated by Ángel Vélez, CEO of Devol RPA and InLOG Consulting and Solutions.

The aim of this conference is to analyze the objective towards which the solutions applied in the field of WMS are heading. This analysis will focus both on the management of finished product warehouses and on their interconnection with plant flows allowing automatic feeding of production sites.

These are systems that have the most advanced solutions, such as the presentation of inventory information in real time, covering end-to-end, from the raw material supplier to the customer. It is these types of WMSs that allow for improved decision making and where the implementation of AI makes the most sense.

During the conference, we will be able to see solutions developed on our own and third-party products, applying different AI models. Thus, real evidence will be shown that will highlight the potential of the new technological options, the state of the art with tangible experiences and the trends that will revolutionize the sector.

This is a unique opportunity to understand the present and immediate future of warehouse management through the application of the latest technologies.
