On February 5, at the headquarters of Vametal-Asociación de Empresarios del Metal de Valladolid, a conference will be held on technological hardware and software solutions applied to warehousing and logistics. The event is aimed at boosting the efficiency of companies with logistics or storage processes and will feature practical experiences that will highlight the power of technology to improve and enhance the efficiency of companies.
The conference, organized by Vametal in collaboration with InLOG and Tomec Engineering, will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and will start with a welcome by María Rodríguez, Manager of Vametal. Felipe Rebollo, InLOG’s Business Development Director, will then give an introduction to frame the day and share everything that Industrial EMS can contribute in terms of efficiency. After his speech, Tomás Muñoz, CEO of Tomec Engineering, will present different end-of-line and intra-logistics automation solutions, as well as international trends in this field.
The two presentations will be followed by the Round Table, moderated by Tomás Muñoz, with the participation of Felipe Rebollo; Emilio Bazán, R&D Director at DIT; Iñigo Garatxena, CEO of Absentix; Xabier Madina KAM – Logistics / Food & Commodities; Xabier Madina KAM – Logistics / Food & Commodities at Omron; Gonzalo Molinero, Key Account Manager at Smarlog; and Tamara Pariente, Logistics Department Management Technician at Segula-Horse. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panelists in the final part of the Round Table.
The objective of this roundtable is to broaden the views around technological solutions applied to logistics and to share perspectives on current and future trends in the sector, not only technological ones. It will be a good opportunity to discuss the tangible and intangible benefits of implementing technology solutions for inventory management or automating logistics processes, the contribution of processes and people to the success of the solutions, the barriers to implementing these technologies and the ways in which organizations can prepare to adopt these improvements.
At the end of the day there will be a networking space for attendees to interact with the panelists, ask questions and share their own experiences and concerns.
The importance of this conference lies in its ability to bring together, in a transversal way, different actors of the business and technology ecosystem, facilitating the exchange of knowledge in a context where digital transformation has become a priority for companies of all kinds seeking to implement actions to improve their competitiveness in an increasingly demanding market.
Attendance at this event is free of charge, although seating is limited. For that reason, interested parties are encouraged to register as soon as possible through the Vametal event website.
