InLOG Consultoría y Soluciones and Fundación Ibercaja are organizing a conference on October 18 to analyze the changes that have occurred in the world of logistics in the last 10 years. It will give a technological overview of where logistics is going and explore the future ahead. The conference has the collaboration and participation of ALIA, Logistics Cluster of Aragon.
In the incomparable space of the Ibercaja Campus, located next to the Cogullada Monastery in Zaragoza, a large number of experts from various sectors will gather to reflect and share experiences. Success stories that make logistics more competitive and how it has transcended the pure scope of the finished product warehouse, production activities or the supply chain, to give rise to expanded logistics in real time, i.e., logistics that has the potential to create more value, will be shared with the audience. From raw material to customer, everything is logistics!
The event will start with a welcome by Ana María Farré, Director of the Ibercaja Campus of the Cogullada Monastery, followed by the inaugural presentation by Jesús Arnau Usón, General Manager of CEOE Aragón. We will then move on to the round table discussion entitled “Logistics, spearhead of the economy”, which will be moderated by Mercedes Penacho, Director/Consultant of Virtus Comunicación, with the participation of Susana Val, Director of Zaragoza Logistics Center-ZLC; Luz Martínez, Managing Partner of Albor business growth and Interim manager; and Jesús Arnau Usón, General Manager of CEOE Aragón.
The table will be followed by the first thematic block, which will focus on logistics and technology. After the introduction of Ángel Vélez, CEO of InLOG Consultoría y Soluciones, with his presentation “Logistics expanded in real time: from logistics to business”, the second round table will take place, which will discuss the present and future of logistics, and which, in addition to Ángel Vélez, will include the participation of Javier Soguero Falcón, Chief Operating Officer of Grupo Grávalos; Héctor Benito, Director of consulting and projects at Carreras Grupo Logístico; and Sergio Moreno, Manager of Moreno MRO.
The second part of the day will focus on how technological solutions add value to the business activities of logistics companies. The introductory speech will be given by Miguel Ángel Blanco, innovation director of Devol RPA, with the title “Hyper-automation, much more than integrating technology”. This will be followed by the second panel of experts with the round table, moderated by Miguel Ángel Blanco, with the participation of Gonzalo Villar, technology expert and co-founder of Softwine and QE2 eConsulting; Renato Gonzaga Luckwu, Project manager at Synersight; Gorka Marcos, Director of technology transfer at Vicomtech; and Manuel Solans, IT supply chain Director at Sesé.
The day will close with a networking area where Spanish wine will be available for tasting.
